Inside, the cabin has been updated with a new horizontal dashboard, improved air vents, upgraded cupholders, ambient lighting, and a larger 11.2-inch floating touchscreen (up from the previous 9-inch version). Upholstery options now include eco-friendly Nordico material alongside traditional wool and Nappa leather.

The XC90 is available in 6- or 7-seat configurations. The third row is best suited for children, while the front and second rows offer generous space. Cargo space is approximately:

- Around 65–66 cubic feet with the rear seats folded
